How to choose Pro Safety Collection

Start with the hazard, not the look. If your site requires protective footwear, choose a steel or composite safety toe. Working around live circuits? Look for the EH (electrical hazard) rating. Wet ground, mud, or washdown areas call for a fully waterproof boot with a slip-resistant, oil-resistant outsole.

Steel toe or composite toe?

Both meet ASTM impact and compression standards. Steel toe is the traditional choice and typically costs less. Composite toe is lighter, does not conduct heat or cold, and passes through metal detectors.

What does EH rated mean?
